Forging Temperature Matters More Than Material

The golf industry has spent decades marketing material. S20C. S25C. 1025. Everyone has a number. But the number on the spec sheet doesn't tell you how the club was made.

Forging happens at 1,482°C. The temperature, the number of strikes, the cooling time — these variables shape the grain structure of the metal more than the material designation does. A well-forged S20C head can outperform a poorly forged S25C head. Every time.

DID is a design brand, not a materials brand. We care about process. We care about outcome. The material is just one input among many.
